NEXT ADVANCED HIV COURSE
September 1-3, 2013
Applications are now open at https://react-profile.org/eacs/

More than just a course - an opportunity to exchange ideas and practice and create an International network. Previous trainees still talk about it!

Every year EACS runs an intensive 3-day course in Antiretroviral Therapy and Comprehensive Care for people living with HIV/AIDS, focused on the clinical management of HIV, in the South of France. Aimed at experienced practitioners, this course is facilitated by a faculty of professors from throughout Europe. The teaching is divided between plenary sessions and interactive workshops. Its location in the Midi means that after the hard work, students can relax in the Mediterranean sunshine.

The course is open to around 60 participants with a limited number of scholarships available to those from developing countries.

The 'Advanced HIV Course' is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.

The 'Advanced HIV Course' is designated for a maximum of 17 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
