Every year the EACS runs an intensive 3 day course in Antiretroviral Therapy and Comprehensive Care for people living with HIV/AIDS, focused on the clinical management of HIV, in Montpellier (South of France). Aimed at experienced practitioners this course is facilitated by a faculty of professors from throughout Europe. The teaching is divided between plenary sessions and interactive workshops. Its location in Europe's oldest medical faculty ensures a didactic atmosphere and Montpellier's location in the Midi means that after the hard work the students can relax in the Mediterranean sunshine.
The course is open to a maximum of 60 participants with a limited number of scholarships available to those from developing countries.
63 candidates from 33 different countries will take part in the 8th Advanced HIV Course - September 8-10, 2010.
